Qinmen County

Located in the southwestern part of Huangshan City.Qimen County has jurisdiction over 18 towns, covering an area of 2.257 square kilometers .It is regarded as “the Hometown of Chinese Black Tea”. It is also reputed as “the key of Clay”. The black tea, clay, wood snake medicine are known as the “Four Treasures of Qimen County”. Qimen County is well-known for Xin’an medicine is regareded as “the Hometown of Royal Doctors”. In history ,the opera culture in this area was also famous. It boasts 11 ancient stages. The Nuo Dance and Mulian Opera are known as ”Living Fossils of Opera”. By taking advantage of its excellent ecology ,rich, tourism resources and abundant local products. Qimen County has speeded up “Three Production Bases” coustruction , namely, the national ecological demonstration base, eco-tourism leisure resort in east of China and the provincial green products processing base .In the future ,it will become “the Provincial Eco-economic County” and the exhibition area for ecological civihzation.
